With a view to die for, this three level architect-designed family home was built on a sloping block on the side of Mt Coot-Tha, The Gap.
Designed by Nives Robinson and built by McVeigh Homes, the visually stunning home features more than 600sqm of living space, 5 bedrooms, a pool, gym, media room, library room, two shared bathrooms and an ensuite.
The design brief was to create a contemporary space that maximizes natural light and the expansive views that can be seen from almost every room in the house. The two multistory wings are connected via an atrium and library room providing ample space for owners’ three teenage children.
The home was the winner of the 2013 HIA Brisbane/Toowoomba New Kitchen Project Up to $30,000 and was also featured on 7Two’s “Best Houses Australia” showcasing Australia’s most exciting homes.
